Stockholm Public Library (1928) – Gunnar Asplund

This is for sure one of the most breath-taking buildings I’ve ever been into. It happened in May 2010 while I was visiting some friends of mine. It was a long-waited desire of mine to be in Stockholm, but everything happened very fast.

Just by chance I saw the library for the first time. The lighting experience one has inside is just beyond words. I cannot imagine what it is like to be there one morning, one afternoon, with time passing through us and a feeling that everything is right. Trully inspirational.
