Hugo Oliveira (Washington, D.C., 1984), has a Master’s degree in Architecture (Lisbon, 2009), and has experience working at several architectural offices in Europe including the studio of Sir David Adjaye (London, 2010), who is considered by former President Barack Obama as his “favorite architect.”
He was also a researcher at Columbia University (New York, 2013-2014) and was an editorial assistant for a SCOPIO/FAUP (Porto, 2014-2015). Has organized and contributed to various international exhibitions and conferences. He currently writes for digital and paper publications, Portuguese and international, and for his blog “Hugo’s Peep Box” (H’SPB).
H’SPB is the outlet which Hugo uses to communicate architecture and its intersection with other areas like music, fashion, writing, photography, cinema, philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, politics or travel.
